Paws&Dora

Dora has been a significant support system as pet sitter for us when we moved to Denmark with our anxious Labrador rescue named Kimchi. We took 6 months to find someone who understood and shared the same belief system as us regarding how we treat and see dogs. Then finally, Dora appeared as a saviour for our scared, sensitive, fiercely loyal and protective Kimchi. Dora exhibited confidence, adaptability, openness to understand and learn more about fear-free approaches (even though she was already doing it). Kimchi clung onto her since the first day he met her. Now Kimchi sees Dora as part of his pack and melts down when he sees her anytime. Dora takes Kimchi for walks, has playtime with him at home, gives him a lot of enrichment exercises at home and most importantly she is also helping out with Kimchi's physiotherapy treatment (even though she didn't need to). She has gone out of her way for Kimchi and is even helping him heal in small ways. We cant treat this normally but indeed as exceptional commitment to these god-send companions to humans. I would gladly recommend Dora to anyone who has a special needs pup like Kimchi. As long as we are in Denmark, Dora will be Kimchi’s one and only sitter. No one else comes close. She has set a gold standard in what it means to love and look after a pet, especially one with special needs. Dora, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You may not realise it, but what you do means everything to us and to Kimchi. We are endlessly grateful for you.

We highly recommend Dora! Our dog is very sensitive and had a traumatic past so we needed someone very special. Dora has been amazing from the beginning, working with us to built trust with us and our dog. Now we confidentially can leave her with Dora for extended periods of time with no stress

Can only recommend, recommend, recommend. Dora is fantastic. Not exaggerating here (I'm Dutch, we don't exaggerate ; ). Dora is reliable, great in communication, and so so good with our dog. And most importantly, our Lucy (a 3,5 year old Weimaraner-Labrador mix) absolutely loves her. The cool thing is that Dora not only walks and sits Lucy, but also trains her on their walks. Which Lucy loves. They have so much fun together. And we are actually getting a much more balanced and better trained dog (loose leash walking for example) as a bonus. Lucy is actually pretty sick (kidney disease) but I trust Dora with her 200%. And last but not least, we always get amazing pictures after each walk. Which we love. Dora's an amazing photographer on top of everything else.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not sure why one cannot give 10-Stars! But if I could I would. I can't say enough good things about Paws & Dora! It's clear how much Dora genuinely cares for animals— kindness, professionalism, and reliability absolutely shine through. My dog lights up the second she arrives, tail wagging at whippet speed, and a grin from ear to ear which tells me everything I need to know. I always get updates, photos (really nice quality too), and little notes about how the walk went. She’s attentive, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond—rain (there was one very rainy day) or shine, she shows up with a smile and a calm, confident energy that my doggo responds to beautifully. I have total peace of mind knowing my dog is getting not just exercise, but love, structure, and best of all fun while I'm out for the day. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, Dora is an absolute gem and so lucky we found her!

We are so happy that we found Dora! We have a dog who is protective in the apartment and it is not easy to come in. It is also a challenge for strangers to put a harness on. Dora managed it absolutely perfect from day one! Our dog Henry loves to be picked up by Dora and always comes back with a big smile from his walk. Huge recommendation!!!

Dora has been helping us with our little dog Coco, a Jack Russell mix, both for walks and dog sitting. Our experience has been absolutely amazing! Dora has been taking great care of Coco since he was a puppy. She always sends pictures and videos; especially when traveling, it is super nice to see updates of our little doggo 🙂 More recently we had a baby and it has been an incredible value to have Dora on call. She came to our apartment to take care of Coco when we had to go to the hospital and helped us socializing our dog to our newborn. We feel Dora has really gone above and beyond, and would definitely recommend here to anyone who needs someone to take care of theirs 4-pawed loved ones!

Dora is amazing with dogs, she brings a individual approach and care when taking care of our Archie. ❤️ He is reactive dog, so it's not easy to handle him, but we can always trust that she will take the best care of him. Very much recommend!
